Aaaah I messed up the eyes and chin! But it was definitely fun drawing her, she’s so pretty! I really only wanted to attempt this digitally, because of how much black there was and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to do the highlights properly. It didn’t turn out so bad!
Now I have to get out of my face shot comfort zone and really get more practice on full body and hands…
I can’t draw him lol. I’ve tried and tried and something is always off. This is mouth attempt number 3…
I’ve been too afraid to try this drawing even though I’ve wanted to for a while. There’s this fear that I won’t capture his likeness, and the main mission – drawing hands! These hands are hard! But it’s a style of hands that I’ve not drawn before and it was my main focus.

This one was interesting to draw! As always, displaying my Photoshop Takes Zero Skill heavily filtered pic, but I do want to post some WIPs too!
I wanted to try something different for this – I really like the angle and lighting of this shot, but it was too daunting to approach with pencil because it was extremely black heavy, and I don’t like having to spend so much pencil lead on paper because it’s so tedious, not to mention the graphite goes everywhere and is prone to smudging! So I decided to start my digital canvas black, and worked my way towards white. It kind of worked???

I think I’m done trying to draw digitally for the rest of this year. It’s so hard! Also a cropped version without a filter wrecking it just cause.
When will I get better at colour accuracy??? When I can I capture expressions accurately???
Also I still hate doing digital only from scratch, it’s too hard!
First drawing in months, couldn’t draw an original character so went with a character study instead.
Definitely not my best, it’s passable though. His messy tousled hair was a challenge!
Drawn for a friend. I was wondering whether or not I could draw someone I didn’t plan on drawing, and then ended up going all out when she suggested “Sherlock and Watson, scarf is compulsory.”
I hate the hands but happy I incorporated a background!
Because Asia Kate Dillon is pretty amazing! I feel like I haven’t captured their likeness as much as I managed to do with grandson. When am I drawing original characters again XD
I still can’t get the tilt angle right so his head isn’t quite as far back as the original picture. The arms are iffy but still okay, and the most enjoyable bit? The XX tattoo haha.
