This was the easiest win I’ve had, 4x boarding mantis are amazing! I lost one because I mistimed the mind control with the teleport in the med bay, but I was nigh untouchable for most of the fight, it was amazing! I got super lucky with a reverse ion field and zoltan bypass!
(more…)It only took me 10 years and 230 hours of playtime to finally get my stupid Engi victory. I got lucky with a 2nd Ion weapon and ended up winning with just basics!
I did do some stupid things and lost good crew, I barely scraped through XD

I’d forgotten how incredible the pre-igniter is, and it turns out in phase 3 you only need a level 1 stealth to be able to handle the power surge. Plus, Lanius boarding crew is so fun!

BACK TO REAL LIFE
Decided to play some stuff over the Easter break, turns out FTL is just as frustrating as ever! But it has some fancy new things that it didn’t have several years back.
All the ships are still incredibly difficult to play with, but behold, my second victory! lol
I also didn’t realise I never finished New Game Plus on Bastion. So I did that too. Yeah.
So I’ve been playing this game called FTL: Faster Than Light and it’s very fun! Very frustrating and I totally hate it at times, but I like the fact that I can make a boat collection because I like collecting things.
I finally won! Without even trying to beat the boss cause I was after the “collecting every system + subsystem” achievement. And also contrary to the screenshot I beated it on normal 🙂 Now my entire body hurts from freaking out.
I really need to buy a good grinder + scales + thermometer + aero/V60
