It’s been a long time since I’ve drawn! Trying a completely different technique and this went places; at first her face was too ashen and she reminded me of a vampire. I warmed up the skin a bit but mainly this was just an experiment of making some gold highlights pop.
Gotta get more ideas for drawing!!!

I finally drew my favourite villain!!! Makishima Shogo is the best! And this is my favourite scene too!
Too bad I have no concept of depth so all the blood is blurred in different ways that don’t make sense lol
Yeah okay so I finally binged Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 and who knew Choso was so awesome! Of course everyone is Itadori’s brother!
Sukuna’s Fuga technique was pretty amazing too!
I am actually less inclined to draw Gojo, I feel like I chose him to be my favourite character too early and that I like a lot of the other characters a lot more. Buuut he has pretty eyes so I have to draw him…

Ok this one has a huge backstory, especially as this scene is set at the end of the story. Irutha and her group have made it to the library. Broen is critically injured but determined to see this through, while Makrie has no idea what’s coming (well none of them do except Irutha). The drones in the background (i.e. the pigeons) are just for show – everyone knows that Irutha can’t be stopped now. She’s going to use the Inserendis weapon to make her ending for this world. Yeah, lots of drama and weird concepts! Remind me I have no idea how to draw injured people hahaha, that’s why it looks like Broen doesn’t have a scratch on him, when he’s supposed to be half dead…
Ris being silly while Irutha is infinitely tolerant, even while her arm is totally squished. It’s funny, I’ve tried to not have mobile phones in my drawings because I feel like it heavily dates the drawing to current times instead of some nondescript fantasy timeline but it just seemed right that she would be playing a phone game in that position, so here we are!
Now that I’ve got the anime glow style down pat, I’ve gone back to scribbling my characters in the hopes that I can draw them a bit better!
I definitely like Ostejhar’s face and hair a lot more now! I still struggle with Starfaller’s face though. Sigh.
Ah it feels kind of refreshing, but at the same time I really just want to focus on my own characters. I took so much from the characters I admired and made them my own, but this was definitely fun!
I specifically wanted to practise a more “glowy” style with backlighting and just more depth and saturation than before, and I’m happy with the results!
Also Jujutsu Kaisen is such a silly over the top show. Very fun to watch, though I didn’t expect to not become obsessed with Gojo immediately. He’s definitely the arrogant powerful outwardly happy type that I like but the lack of backstory seems to have made him not interesting to me! So I have a feeling season 2 will change that for sure. In the meantime, I think Inumaki Toge is amazing so I decided to draw him instead!
